No great technology push is needed to implement a program of energy conservation. No technology push is needed to provide leadership for changing the unsustainable culture of the western world. No technology push is needed to implement programs to reduce the environmental impact of coal-fired electricity and petroleum-fueled transportation. What is needed is political will and shared sacrifice.
